Finalmente, dopo un Ep autoprodotto, vede la luce il primo album dei The Jersey Line, “Misery club”, pubblicato in tutto il mondo tramite Ammonia/Wynona.
Nati dalle ceneri dei Friday star, band emo capitolina, autrice di un album (“Defenceless”) definito dalla stampa specializzata come una delle migliori produzioni alternative del 2004, i Jersey Line propongono 10 brani caratterizzati da una sonorità personale e attuale, miscelando l’indie rock dell’ultima generazione (come non citare gli Editors tra le loro influenze?) e l’emocore di stampo più americano (Taking back sunday, Boysetsfire).
un disco trasversale e votato alla melodia (grazie anche all’ottima prova vocale di Gianni), che piacerà molto anche all’estero. |
